Cycles of Change

This painting is of an area near Tiffany Lake in the Methow Valley Washington. Looking through the stark remains of trees after a wild fire to the colorful mountain range in the background drew me in. Seeds are spread during the fire and bright new growth like wild flowers and young evergreens are regenerating amidst the ash and shards. I find it reassuring to remember that this cycle of create and destroy is a natural part of life like the changing seasons and that something beautiful may grow from a difficult obstacle or loss.

I let go of teaching arts to kids and decided to return to doing Clairvoyant Readings.  Please check out my new website for more information. luciaarts.com
